Lumenlab began in 2003 in Hampton, VA. It was started by Grayson Sigler and wife, Kellie. Lumenlab started with a guide and companion site to help people build DIY video projectors.
We’ve since moved to Asheville, NC and expanded into robotics.

Grayson Sigler AKA Brainchild
micRo is a handmade precision machine that I rarely think of as a “CNC machine”. micRo is the artistic and scientific output of my life; a life I’ve lived with a passion for mechanics beginning before I could talk. Robin now shares that passion with me.
The micRo platform strives to be modular and adaptable to many purposes and made to my standards. I want to deliver a product that has the greatest possible worth.

Robin W Turner
Robin W Turner joined Grayson to build robots in 2006. Robin studied architecture and engineering in college. He is proficient at technical drawing, both by hand and with software. Since joining Lumenlab Robin has learned to write g-code. Most of the micRo prototype parts are written in g-code by Robin.

Kellie Sigler AKA lustra with dauther Oli
Kellie Sigler founded Lumenlab with Grayson in 2003. She is the web developer, customer service and sometimes shipper for the company. Kellie also works on the custom Ubuntu/EMC ISO, g-code library and g-code shapes software which is in development at Lumenlab.
