I know we already have the "Project Forum" and it's great to show off the final product and results to potential customers. Brainchild has asked us not to get too specific about measurements and other details because that might hurt his bottom line, and I can groove to that -- why would someone pay $20 when they can just scoop up the info for free on an unprotected thread? I'm sure that there have already been a few that have done that, but why make it easy?

What I'd like to see is a protected version of the same type of forum. Call it a "PLOG" or "Project Log" if you will...

Make it protected so we can go into specifics about the construction details and provide a start to finish "diary" of our builds where we can include measurements and other info that might be very helpful to people that have laid down the $20, but maybe too much info to give away for free.

I was going to update my unprotected project thread, but I have had second thoughts about posting what I have done so far when it says we should only post final build pics and video results.

I know people have posted in-progress stuff before, but now that I have read the forum instructions again I'm reluctant to post anything else there until I'm done.

Thoughts?

Thanks Brain, uber customer service as usual...

I'm sure the construction details that we can cover in the protected PLOGs are going to be extra helpful to the paying customers, without compromising the marketing appeal of making the final results public.

Thanks again!
