I'm using a 3M OHP to project my image. I have a bright spot in the center and 2 bright circles farther out. This is obviously due to the fresnall lens in the projector.
Are there any ways to fix this? Any ways to compensate?
I was able to build my projector and strip my monitor because of the forums here and would like to say thanks you for your help. This is my first post any only real issue. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
Thanks

I'm guessing its a distance problem.
If you can, adjust the distanced between your bulb, the fresnels, and the LCD with eachother.
Tinker until your happy, then repeat.

i'm starting to wonder now if it's coming from the bulb. i just had a look at it and it fades a bunch as the unit warms up. still there but less noticable. this problem showed up when i changed the bulb.
thanks for your thoughts on the subject. i'll look into that.

My 3M ohp has an adjustment knob connected to the lamp it's supposed to correct colour aberrations. It just moves the lamp forward or backwards. Everything else is pretty well fixed in place. Since your using an ohp that may be the only adjustment you can make that would affect this.
Mine shoots the light down off a mirror sitting at an angle in the bottom of the ohp. If yours is the same you may also want to check that nothing has smudged or moved the mirror.
