I purchased (2) non working 15" Philips flatscreen TV's off of E-bay to see if I could use them for a projector. I went today to pick them up locally. The guy asked if I was interested in any 15" LCD's. He has a (100) LCD's of various brands. He said he has not tested them because he does not have the power supplies. The units that I saw looked to be in good shape physically with no cracked screens. He wants $65.00 each if I buy all 100. Would anyone be interested in any @ $75.00 each plus shipping. I am putting a little something in there for me for pickup and packaging. Sorry if this got posted twice.

Laptop LCDs are possible. I have a buddy who just made one. He just had to buy a special board to connect to his computer.

The units that he had out were various brands, Dell, Compaq, Liquidvision. I wanted to see if there was any interest before proceeding any further. Do you feel this is a good price if the screens are usable for a projector project?

if you mean if they have any FFC issues, then that really is not a problem anymore.

the main thing would be are they still working......

next would be the specs..

might be a good find though! and i would think $10 extra for your time and trouble would be fine.
my 20" tv sucks!

also, would you test the monitor before shipping?

Yes, along the lines of what Jeremyvnc said above, I would pay a little more to be guaranteed that the panel has no dead/stuck pixels and the front of the panel is not scratched.

I would certainly buy one if the specs were listed and you had done your best to inspect them.
