So many people put 1080p in the description of their projector but I was wondering why?
While their projector builds take VGA or even DVI or hdmi that could accept a 1080p signal most of them do not in fact have an lcd with atleast 1080p native resolution. So what I am wondering is is it even worth it to send a 1080p/i signal to a screen that will interlace it if you aren't even going to get the "full effect".
Or, is it that I have somehow missed the boat you you guys are finding secret hidden small lcds that have native 1080p (1920x1080). For the most part it has been my experience that you have to find a 21" or larger screen to get this resolution.
And I know "overdriving" a screens resolution can make a game look good on your desktop monitor but only to a point and you have to consider compatibility. But will the projected image really get that much better?

Yes almost everyone of those claiming 1080p are using the 1920x1200 15.4" Wuxga screen.
So technically they are actually doing BETTER than 1080p
