MAG innovision LT565 for only $85? :o May I ask where you purchased it?

I envy your luck, nonetheless....

I use that exact panel. The metal frame works great for holding the panel.. my only issue with it is the small right angle FFC in one of the corners.

I got mine for $65 on Ebay. (Supposedly bad backlight.. however when it arrived, it was working perfectly)

Same story with the bad backlight on e-bay. Got it and it worked just fine. Hey Anthony seeing as you are currently using this lcd how does it look. Seems the specs are good but wondering how it worked out in practice.

Its pretty good for the price, sometimes the contrast is a little lacking, but that might be due to my calibration.

Otherwise, its super easy to use in the project. It has one ground cable off of the DB15 on the VGA connection, but that ground isn't needed. It consists mostly of one control board with the VGA and power connections, and then another bridging board that has long ribbon connectors that plugin to that control board. It gives you enough length to play around with positioning of the control board.
