Hello,

My lamp recently copped out on me ( at least i hope its the bulb and not my eballast... i've only used it for about a month =( ) and i've found someone who may sell me a UHI-S400AQ lamp. They're almost the same, the only thing that worries me is the color temperature which is 10,000K. The S400D lamps we normally use have 4000k. Is this going to affect my quality or brightness negatively? Any reply would be greatly appreciated.

Adrian.

No, 10,000K WILL NOT be suitable, it is far too high a colour temperature. You will get loads of blue and not a lot else!

Yeah, I second that. The AQ designation is for Aquariums, that is why the colour temp is so high. I'd like to see the result though (even though I expect it too look extremely poor).
It's not the Destination, it is the Journey (Adapted from somewhere LOL)
